Daycare Jobs

I had just lost my babysitting job and I was looking for a stable profession.

I faced many challenges in my job search journey. Firstly, the lack of specialization and the biggest lack of knowledge of knowing which area would be suitable for me.

A friend of mine was helped by WorkBC, and she recommended me to go there.

WorkBC Centre Newton helped me pay for my college and support me while I studied.

I am currently working at the welcoming daycare, where I am well paid and have benefits.

I’d like to appreciate my counsellor for her dedication and patience. She helped me identify my skills and find the best course for me to work.

WorkBC

WorkBC is the provincial government's access point to the world of work in British Columbia. It was created with one key goal — to help all British Columbians to successfully navigate B.C.'s labour market.
