As an immigrant, my journey to finding meaningful employment in Canada wasn’t easy. Before coming to WorkBC, I spent four months unemployed. During that time, I actively searched for jobs, but nothing seemed to click. I used several job boards and even attended some networking events, but despite my 15+ years of experience in accounting from my home country, I struggled to get any responses.

Today, I’m employed full-time as a bookkeeper, and I feel more confident than ever in my abilities. The skills and experience gained through WorkBC employment services were instrumental in helping me secure this position. I’m now excited about the future and the growth opportunities in my career.
